With three picks and more than a round to go it seems that the Purple are taking a proactive approach to possible undrafted players. Since the team has no reason to anoint John Parker Romo the guy for week 1 it makes plenty of sense give him competition. For all I know Reichard was also at the top of their draft board.
It's not a jersey pick but it could be a game-deciding selection! Any such moves at this point or later in the proceeding gets a high mark.
