A few highlights then the thoughts
Running back was already a dark-horse need for the 2022 draft, depending what happens with Alexander Mattison but going that way early in the fourth round has the smell of a mistake. The point has already been made that they lost Mike Boone in FA but filling that role stills seems like a sixth round or later approach.
Others have mentioned that he has returner skills, which the team did need to upgrade. But again, I think there would be players taken later who can step into that sort of role better than what they've got.
Though few in number, the highlights do show that he's got something of a home run hitter quality to his game so as a poor man's Dalvin Cook maybe they're already think he can be the #2. I still would have waited for next year's draft to go that way, but I'm willing to see what he can do for the squad.
