Persisting Euphoria

it may be snowy with blowing wind and occasional dangerously low visibility but because of captain Keenum all of that is an after thought. I'm a Vikings fan first and foremost. I root for the Bison as my home team but there they don't compare. I haven't yet figured out why my allegiance flies that way, but it does and I make no apologies for it.

Luckily, we're living in a golden era. Maybe it will only last for another week but I don't know how things could be much better with Fargo sports USA. I think it so strongly that it brought on the latest question of the week, normally reserved for Instagram, I'm compelled to integrate the mediums. Peak the pic for the Q.

We get to ride the high of a sixth FCS championship.

An NFC championship game appearance for the first time since 2009 and we are favored by Vegas, whatever that's worth since so was ATL.

But thirdly and not lastly, the Timberwolves are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. The former #1 picks have picked it up on both ends more lately. Not too tough since they were both pretty much invisible on defense coming into the season and early on. But the Wolves stole an MVP level player from the Bulls, made some solid veteran signings and are just generally coming together well right now. I preached patience and that seems to be paying off these days. A regression is always possible but off all the positivity with them and other big timers in the region, I'm not sure it'll happen.

That's very counter intuitive as a corn fed, small town fan of teams that have lost WAY more often then they've won. But the question, is this the best time to be a sports fan in this part of the world?

Veteran sports fans, I need your voices - taps on phones - clicks on keyboards - whatever. TALK TO ME. Have things EVER come together as gloriously at one time as they are today and this week??????????

I'm listening, get back to me! ! ! !

I don't think so, I can't imagine it but I'm young and am not a great historical mind of things sport from the early 90's, 80's, 70's. Going back even further maybe. Doesn't have to be those same teams, just a culmination of greatness all at once and all connected directly to the frozen heartland land. So there it is. I'm all jacked and can't wait for Sunday but come what may, we're living in a golden era! I just hope it can persist for a few more weeks.
