Decided to divide the festivities into the two parts that they were already divided into. Different reasons for each of the photos but the thing that resonated from the beginning of the ring awarding through Nate Tanguay was how so many of the former players showed up. One last chance for Coach K to say goodbye to those champions, even as many of them are pursuing professional dreams.
Then came the "main attraction." As I said in the words half of this little breakdown, no hard conclusions should be drawn off one open practice unless it ties back into last season. One such nugget that I decided to retain for this portion of it was about one of the sled dawgs. Bruce Anderson & Ty Brooks will lead the pack of backs but nipping at their heels is young Seth Wilson. He'll have a lot of competition over each of his three years of remaining eligibility but I would favor him to find ways to stand out each year. I think there is a special burst, the cliched quick twitch. But I think he can live up to the saying, even in a crowded backfield. So that's another nugget for those of you who checked out both posts!
