Draft Reaction: Zach Davidson

A possible contender for this year's most interesting prospect in the draft will start his professional journey in Minnesota

Similar to running back I didn't think tight-end was enough of a need for it to get a draft pick but clearly the team is not going their usual route of seventh round picks & undrafted signees to find some low-men on the depth chart.

If you didn't watch the highlights, you really should!

The most obvious thing to say is that SKOLquitt's job is not in jeopardy, even though it would be quite a gimmick to have a tight-end handling the punting.

Davidson seems like the latest example of a guy who was just athletically superior to his competition. How that will translate when he makes the Grand Canyon-sized jump to the pros is anyone's guess.

While he adjusts, probably on the practice squad, he could begin to distinguish himself as a gunner on special teams. No matter how the future unfolds for him it's the makings of a great story!
