A mixed bag of fantasy discussion.
(in case the logo wasn't clear enough)
.5 PPR, I need 2 players to start between Jalen Reagor, Tevin Coleman, Nelson Agholor & Rashard Higgins.
I trust San Fran running back usage as much as New England's usage. Being that it'll be Coleman's first game back, I think they will ease him in so cross him off first. Higgins could continue to ascend in Cleveland the rest of the season but I'm wary of saying he should be started over Reagor & Agholor until a full, post-Beckham game plan has been seen.
PPR, should I pull the trigger on this trade - D'Andre Swift & Will Fuller for Ezekiel Elliott & Christian Kirk?
Elliott may become a 30+ carry workhorse back in Dallas going forward but with the condition of the offensive line that still may not lead to big things. Considering that, even with the explosive nature of Arizona's offense, I think you're in a better position with the two you already have.
Do I start Jarvis Landry, Harrison Byrant, or Cooper Kupp in my flex this weekend?
As with the question about Higgins above, until we see what Cleveland's game-planning looks like in the post-Beckham days, I can't recommend starting those guys. I would like Landry to be a lock because I have him but starter-beware.
Even if you had another option or two to consider I think Kupp would still be the right choice this week against Miami.
12 team, ppr, superflex. Who should I start between Ben DiNucci, Sam Darnold, Tua Tagovailoa & Rashard Higgins?
But then there's this one.
Gotta hope that Tua turns out to be the best QB of those three but against a playoff defense I don't see good things happening from him this week. So reluctantly I'll say Higgins, but I don't feel great about it.
Amari Cooper vs Philly or Dallas Goedert vs Dallas?
Speaking of reluctance... I'll give the edge to Goedert just because I think DiNucci is going to be BATTERED this week by Philly but Wentz may not look his way a ton right out of the chute.
If you're like me, you've been trying to patchwork the tight-end position all season. Well, some good news just came across the wire as Dallas Goedert will be active this week. I think it would be premature to insert him into your lineup, even against a juicy matchup. But with Philly heading into their bye-week you could play some chess & grab him for the stretch run. With under 44% of ownership, there's a good chance he's available!
Well Done!
There's a chance he will be overshadowed again this week but coming off five catches & a touchdown, I think Greg Ward deserves more than 42% startership.
Aaron Jones is still being started in nearly 60% of leagues. He's out, DON'T DO THAT.
Coming off of a surprising performance against Pittsburgh and with a cap-friendly price tag of only $5,500 Corey Davis could bring you a win this week!
But that's all for now.
Until next week, happy Fantasy hunting!
