A mixed bag of fantasy discussion.
(in case the logo wasn't clear enough)
Who would you rather start this week, Daniel Jones @ DC or Teddy Bridgewater @ KC?
Bridgewater may rack up more passing yards since he'll be most likely be playing from behind for most of the game, but with his running ability I think Jones is a better option.
PPR, Zach Moss or JK Dobbins?
Dobbins against that low-key juggernaut of a defense in Indy or Moss against the extremely suspect one from the Puget Sound. Unless you think Dobbins can finish with at least five catches, Moss should be your guy.
Who would you start at flex this week now with Golden Tate out, Corey Davis or Sterling Shepard?
Davis and Shepard have both been great since coming back from multi-week absences. There's a better than 50% chance that those trends will continue this week. Since both are putting up their numbers with similar target shares the tie-breaker is matchup. Chicago still isn't quite the dominant force of a few years ago but they've still got a leg up on Washington, for now. Next year at this time the DC defense could be top 10 but as of now, they're #1 in points given up to wide receivers so Shepard gets the nod.
Who should I start this week, Antonio Brown or Tyreek Hill?
Everyone who managed to grab Brown wants to get him in their starting lineup ASAP. But trying to rush things could turn out poorly. I know that he showed last year that he can be an instant impact player with Brady but New England had nowhere near as many receiving options for him to contend with. So I think they'll ease him into the rotation.
But even if I'm wrong about that, Mahomes will continue to do things that few others can and Hill will be a primary recipient of that fire.
Should I sit Robby Anderson & play Brandin Cooks?

That's Cooks target rate over the last three weeks. All of them have lead to good days, and until last weekend, great ones.
I'm not saying he'll repeat his week five stat line against Jacksonville but another 20 point games is very possible. Compare that to Anderson going against a sneaky good Kansas City defense and the choice is fairly apparent.
If you do stick with Anderson you're banking on Bridgewater being able to sling it in an effort to hang with the champs. It's not a bad idea, but I think riding with BC is a better one.
On the heels of a disappointing performance against Dallas, I'm not surprised that Greg Ward has had an ownership decrease. With Carson Wentz's inability at consistency, Ward's best days of the year may be behind him. But with New York's Big Men, Seattle & Dallas all left on Philly's schedule he should be closer to half ownership the rest of the way.
Instead of tried & true crickets GIF found a guy who deserves to be dropped in far more leagues than he already has been.
James Garoppolo is still on more than 40% of rosters.
There
is
no
reason
for
that!
Even in dynasty, he will be at best in a competition somewhere next year. Could be San Fran, but that's far from a sure thing. There's no reason to hang on to a guy that's potentially, maybe probably going to be a backup next season.
Randall Cobb has a good chance to add another double-digit PPR day to this season. That would be his sixth of the last seven. But he's only being started in 38% of leagues. If you have better options, don't try to force the square into a round hole, but maybe you could turn him into a starter at another position from one of your league mates who is thin at WR.
I know that it's tough to sit any of the best players, especially when they've proven that they can contribute through ailments. On the verge of the bye week and with his foot ailing however, I think it's presumptuous & perilous to start Calvin Ridley this week. If you are among the 72% that still have him in your starting lineup, I recommend seriously considering swapping him out!
Here's a two-piece for you
Marvin Jones gets to go against the thinnest cornerback group in the league while Diontae Johnson gets Dallas this week. The common denominator, they're each only $5,500 this week.
Johnson has proven to be an injury risk every week but if you can stay on the field for even a half against the Fallen Stars, he'll far out-produce several higher-budget players. As for Jones, he has the added benefit of Kenny Golladay being out. Even without the week of practice Stafford is good enough to make Jones a one-week star.
But that's all for now.
Until next week, happy Fantasy hunting!
