A mixed bag of fantasy discussion.
(in case the logo wasn't clear enough)
Full PPR, pick a flex for this week between Smith-Schuster vs DC, Dallas Goedert vs Green Bay, Jamison Crowder vs Las Vegas or Cam Akers vs Arizona?
Tough to say that one of those guys is more deserving of even a flex start than the others but off his best day of the year I would go with Cam Akers and hope that he earned more than the nine touches from last weekend.
Jonathan Taylor or Miles Sanders this week, PPR?
Indianapolis' RB usage has been a quandary all year. With the time for error running out Taylor is the one running back that I left out of my starting lineup. Of the two, Sanders has a tougher matchup against Green Bay but they've surrendered some big games this year and Philly is much less unpredictable.
Who do I start in flex; Hollywood Brown, Sammy Watkins or Wayne Gallman?
Brown has the most explosiveness to this game but he's one catch removed from posting six straight games in single-digits. If you want to roll the dice that he'll make it two in a row, by all means.
But if it were me, I would start Gallman even if he hadn't scored in five straight.
With Jacobs out do I go with Montgomery vs Detroit, Booker vs NYJ or Harris vs laC?
That's pretty close to a no-lose situation.
In his one featured game this year Booker responded greatly. He won't add much by way of the pass but when Vegas gets ahead I expect they'll feed him even more than they did in week 10.
Half PPR, which WR should I start tomorrow - Terry McLaurin vs Pittsburgh or Allen Robinson vs Detroit?
You'll need to make sure that Robinson is good to go after warmups but unless he's inactive he's a better choice.
What do you think of this lineup?
The running backs are boom or bust but otherwise it looks good.
Nearing the end of another season that has ben a tight-end wasteland, there's one with more than 75% availability who will be going against three of the bottom-eight defenses against the position.
He, like every other offensive player on his team, won't get into the 10-target range but if you need a boost then you should at least consider Cameron Brate for the playoffs.
If his current "doubtful" classification leads to Daniel Jones missing the game against Seattle then he'll be nearly unstartable the rest of the way. Even as a strong advocate of the keep-away strategy he's one to consider dumping.
Tempted to put Zach Ertz in here because Lord knows that Philly needs to find a pulse and maybe Wentz will shake-off his struggles somewhat now that his favorite target is coming back.
But in actuality there's no one who isn't getting started by at least 50% of owners worth recommending.
With less than a day remaining until the first set of kickoffs Josh Jacobs is in 60% of starting lineups, despite being designated as out yesterday.
Don't goose-egg yourself!
$5,500 for a guy who has been targeted 15 times over the last two weeks, catching 11 of them.
If you think yes, please then get Nelson Agholor into your lineup!
But that's all for now.
Until next week, happy Fantasy hunting!
