With 10 former Bison active in the league, NDSU has more NFL players than any other Division I FCS program. Here are the headlines from week three:
Trey Lance - One of his three plays finished in the end zone as he scored his first rushing touchdown from the 1-yard line in the San Fran's 30-28 loss to Green Bay.
Ben Ellefson - Logged 36 total snaps in the Vikings' 30-17 victory over Seattle, 30 of which were on offense ā 40% of Minnesota's offensive plays.
Chris Board - Registered 2 tackles in the Ravens' 19-17 road victory over the Detroit in 43 snaps, 21 on defense and 22 on special teams.
Derrek Tuszka - Recorded two tackles after being activated from Pittsburgh's practice squad. Finished with 29 snaps in their loss to Cincinnati. Was added to their active roster on Tuesday.
Carson Wentz - Started at quarterback and finished 19-of-37 passing for 194 yards in Indianapolis' 25-16 loss at Tennessee.
Joe Haeg - Played 36 total snaps in the Steelers' 24-10 loss to Cincinnati, 33 on offense and 3 on special teams.
Jabril Cox - Played 25 total snaps in Dallas's 41-21 win over Philadelphia on Monday Night, 21 on special teams and 4 on defense.
Easton Stick - Inactive for San Diego's 30-24 win at Kansas City. (They will forever be SD)
Dillon Radunz - Inactive for Tennessee's 25-16 win over Indianapolis. Made his NFL debut Week 2, playing 8 special teams snaps.
Darrius Shepherd & Zack Johnson are currently unsigned
