The 10 š players are of most interest to the highest amount of people & I'll get to them in a second, but NDSU has done a great job producing players in several other sports. As updates come out of their exploits around the world, they will be included in the weekly series. So subscribe, like & follow so you don't miss out on the details!
So far it's all been by the pig-skin pros!
Carson racked up 359 yards passing, a season-high, along with two touchdowns while adding a touchdown on the ground despite only carrying the ball for 14 yards against New York's "big" men. Wentz threw the game-winning touchdown with 46 seconds left to finish one point ahead of Big Blue, 22-21, and in the process put his team in the pole-position of the lowly East.
On the other coast, Easton Stick had the first regular-season action of his career as his team beat Ben Ellefson's Jacksonville squad. Also during the game, Ellefson reeled in a two-point conversion while getting on the field for 27 total snaps, 19 of which were on offense. During his time on the field, Stick completed a short pass and had a carry.
Week 7 also included a pair of former Bison tackles getting starts. Billy Turner made his fourth straight start for Green Bay, this time at left tackle, while in Tampa Bay Joe Haeg made his first start since December of 2018.
The Green Bay/Houston game also included Kyle Emanuel making two tackles in his second game with Houston. Darrius Shepherd impacted as a returner and played 47% of the offensive snaps in the 35-20 win over Houston.
Due to a bye-week by Baltimore that leaves Denver's rookie. Tuszka got 10 special teams snaps in his fifth game this season. Then, just today, he was put on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. It was one of two such moves by his team but the other was defined as season-ending while DT's was not, so he may be back on the field in a few weeks.
Zach Johnson remains the one practice squad member, with Green Bay.
