The 10 šŸˆ players are of most interest to the highest amount of people & I'll get to them in a second, but NDSU has done a great job producing players in several other sports. As updates come out of their exploits around the world, they will be included in the weekly series. So subscribe, like & follow so you don't miss out on the details!

The pig-skin pros are it this week, with a couple of the new faces to the league continuing to rise!

Derrek Tuszka continued his bounce-back from a hamstring issue with a 32 play Sunday for Denver against Buffalo. Of the 32, 28 came on special teams and he was able to takedown one kick returner

The other fresh-face came on Saturday as Zach Johnson was activated by Green Bay for the first time this year. It was the same sort of move that Jacksonville made early in the season with Ben Ellefson. Given the time of year it may not lead to the same outcome for Johnson as it did for Ellefson but it's still a benchmark that was cleared for the big man from Blaine.

Billy Turner did get on the field for that Green team, playing all 62 plays on offense. He helped pave the way for a 195 yard rushing day against Carolina.

Likewise, Chris Board continued his rise with Baltimore. He was on the field for 52 more snaps, 36 on defense. In that time he also got his hands around a ball carrier one time.

Joe Haeg got 14 plays for Tampa against Atlanta, 9 on offense.

Kyle Emanuel was in for 14 special teams plays for Houston against Indianapolis.

Carson Wentz was active but served as the backup for the second week in a row against Arizona, a 33-26 loss by Philly.

Easton Stick was inactive for San Diego against Las Vegas.

The aforementioned tight-end remains on injured reserve for Jacksonville.

Darrius Shepherd is still on the open market after being released by Green Bay prior to week 13. I can think of a team in the North that could use a returner but with two games to go in the regular season he may not be picked up.
