Week 2 Pass or Punt
Along with the Tuszka & Ellefson, a former š player made news this week with a signature to play in Denmark. Considering what happened in March, Deng Geu's transfer really didn't work out but now he has the chance to continue playing.
As for the š guys, they were added to the game-day rosters again. As good as that is, better news may come their way as soon as this week!
Moorhead State also got some pro athlete news this week when Travaun Coad signed to play š in Egypt.
For the second time this month the Cobbers found a way to keep pace with their neighbors. As with Wrestling from a couple weeks ago, the men's š team announced their latest recruiting class. Stretching from Colorado to Ohio, they also managed to maximize their recruiting budget - and no doubt the in-state players that are coming to Moorhead helped!
A former skater recently made it 3-3 with pros as Aaron Ryback signed to play in Sweden.
While the draft process has barely begun, the Wolves got some buzzy news this week when Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Sachin Gupta was not hired by Sacramento. I can't say I know exactly what a EVPBO does but across the board Wolves people were ecstatic about the news.

The duplicates have a pair against Detroit and then wrap up against Cincinnati. Getting bounced before that would be an abject failure.
A closing nugget for the red birds came down this week as General Manager Matt Rau was voted American Association Executive of the Year.
Four games in five days because Moorhead's girls ā½ļø team played on Monday evening, so check out the photos from those plus the recap from the historic game at Sheyenne on Friday night.
But the biggest news may end up being the scheduling of a MSHSL meeting tomorrow which could resurrect š & š this Fall!
It was a great week on the prep scene no matter what, but the chance that those games could happen in a semi-normal timeframe would be a shine of an entirely different kind!
