Vikings

A bounce-back game for the Purple went about as well as it could have but for the long look at it, check out the S or N!

Bison

The week started with a flourish as both Golf teams performed among the best at each of their events, second for the men & third for the women.

On the verge of the weekend, the Volleyball team was shutout by Georgia Southern while the Soccer team doubled up Eastern Washington 4 - 2, with each of the Bison's goals coming off the foot of Elyse Huber!

The Volleyball team returned to the court on Saturday for a pair but were defeated by East Tennessee State 3 - 1 and Tennessee 3 - 0. Meanwhile, back at home, the Football team managed to take care of business against UC - Davis 27 - 16.

Dragons

Moorhead State also started with a run of the Golf course to start the week but with much different results - 12th place.

On Friday both the Soccer & Volleyball teams played, with the Volleyball team getting shutout by Wayne State while the Soccer team beat Minot State 1 - 0 thanks to Anna Steadland.

Volleyball returned against Augustana but finished on the wrong end of a 3 - 1 final. Meanwhile in Aberdeen the Football team took care of business, 24 - 17 over Northern State.

Today the Soccer team played to a 0 - 0 tie against U of Mary while the Golf team improved slightly with a 10th place finish.

Cobbers

No, it's not an echo, the Cobbers also started the week on the Golf course. The men played their way to second place in Crookston.

On Tuesday the women's Soccer team played to a shutout against St. Benedict, but they were the team that couldn't score while the visitors netted four goals.

On Wednesday St. John's edged the men's team 1 - 0 while the Volleyball team won 3 - 2 over St. Kate's.

A packed Saturday included a 48 - 0 win by the Football team over Augsburg. Both of the Cross Country teams finished outside the top four in their events with the women coming in fifth while the men ended in eighth. The men's Soccer team lost to Bethel 4 - 3 while the women were on the wrong end of a 5 - 2 finish. Both of the Golf teams started two invitationals. The Volleyball team lost 3 - 1 against Morris.

The men's Golf team finished in eighth place while the women ended in eleventh. The men's Soccer ended in a 1 - 1 tie against Wisconsin - Superior after two overtimes. The women's team won 3 - 0 over W - S with goals from Grace Lawlor, Kalli Baarstad & Kiara Beinhorn.

High School Sports

A couple Soccer matches between four different schools at Fargo South and a late night at Park Christian on Friday make up this week's high school action. Plenty of good photos if you're interested!
