From the prep level; D/G/F, Barnesville & Fertile/Beltrami all secured spots in the Minnesota State football tournament while Shanley, North & Kindred extended their undefeated seasons and will go for trophies on Friday at the Dome!

It also proved to be a time for several droughts to end. Beginning with women's soccer, Concordia snapped several multi-year streaks. Theirs was first conference tournament win since 2015. One year after that was the last time volleyball managed to make the second season. Men's hockey ended a much longer streak, getting to 3-0 for the first time since 2006, and then made it 4 Saturday.

The Force weren't able to extend their own season-opening run of victories, in overtime against Eastern-leading Dubuque, but got to 11 in style against current third-place Sioux Falls while also adding forward Mason Kesselring in a trade with Lincoln. The Monochromes are going to be a fun follow all Winter!

While it's still early in the season, the Wolves had one of their best performances in memory against Denver and managed to back it up by running past Utah. It's far from a trend but they didn't have many back-to-back good showings last season so perhaps it is a sign that they will be better than the 22/23 team!

Which just left the win in Atlanta. Prior to that, Danielle Hunter was named Conference Defensive Player of the Month while Jordan Addison got Offensive Rookie!
