With nine games to go they're three wins away from the playoff threshold.
Those are penny thoughts but you didn't even pay that much and those are the main takeaways from the Sunday Night outcome.

NDSU put another beating on a previously-great conference rival as they put UNI down 42-19 when the game wasn't really even that competitive. The main takeaway is that the college kids kept their focus with the oh-so-well-deserved bye week ahead of them.
They can also rest on the fact that there's almost no collapse big enough to prevent them from another week off one month from now!

The Dragons also got their third-straight victory, edging the Northwest North Dakota Beavers by scoring the final 14 points of the contest as quarterback Jack Strand continued to etch his name deeper into the program's record book.
One more win will secure them a successful season no matter how the other remaining contest goes. Might not be all that was once possible but that's the consolation prize for them now.

Prolific quarterbacking extended to the Jake as Cooper Mattern also continued to set himself apart from previous Cobbers with more records now having his name attached following the 31-point win over Augsburg!

From the high school level, Barnesville punched it's ticket to the Minnesota state tournament one again, defeating Hawley in wire-to-wire fashion.

The Nuggets did make the state tournament in volleyball, beating D/G/F in the section championship!

The Lady Bison were also decorated this week
Following their Summit League regular season championship the soccer team was heavily included in the League honors
Cross Country had it's own statement to make as senior Reagan Baesler had the best run at the League's final race. Her victory is the first for NDSU since 2019!
