As for the current season's action, the men's & women's basketball teams faced their chief rivals, each splitting the pair in alternating fashion.

It came in a loss but against SDSU Heaven Hamling crossed the 1,500 point threshold, seventh-most all-time and just 86 behind sole possession of fifth. Between her and Elle Evans, the vision that Jory Collins had for the team is coming together nicely!

It was also another up & down week for the Wolves which started with Anthony Edwards moving into third behind LeBron James & Kevin Durant as the third-youngest to score 6,000 points. Think what you will about the milestone number but being in that company is cause for recognition!

Not many hours after notching that, he & Towns got the news that they would be in Hoopsville for the All-Star game. The team may have come up short in it's bid to get Chris Finch in as the coach for the West but that's quality representation for the organization!

In local HS hoops action Davies traveled to Alexandria where it seemed that D1 recruit Hadley Thull would be the story but Eagles sophomore Fallon Passanante had something to say about it, finishing with a game-high 30!

It was also a big day on the mat as Central Cass won the East Region girls wrestling tournament over Carrington.
