With the best receiver tandem in the League, Minnesota could have bypassed using their limited draft capital at the position. That would have made even more sense considering some of the other areas of need that they continue to have.

But I'm taking them stiff-arming those facts and selecting Tai Felton as proof of what they think he can be.

With athleticism that has him in the top percentiles of all players and the opportunity to run along side Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, he'll have every opportunity to make an impact from game 1.

There is also the added benefit of what he should be able to contribute as a returner while he continues to acclimate to the offense.

Third round picks rarely get cut to end their first training camp but even if he was a late Saturday selection the number of openings on the 53 just got one slot smaller!
