Minnesota had 158 as it's next pick but instead of risking the wait they threw it and 211 to Indianapolis for 141st selection. With it they added another Bayou Bengal to bring some heat from the defensive line, 6'3", 305 lbs DT Jaquelin (Juh-kway-lin) Roy.
Here's a little video on the man
There's a chance he could be a defensive tackle version of what Danielle Hunter was coming out of LSU (and it has nothing to do with the spellings of their names). But don't just take my word for it, here's a snippet from a scouting report on Roy.
"As a pass rusher, Roy uses his athleticism to be effective on twists and stunts. Roy is a fluid mover and can flip his hips and get into tight spaces to provide penetration. Roy also does a good job in one-on-one situations attacking the edges of offensive linemen to attack an opening to get pressure on the quarterback."
Hunter is about as lofty a comp as could be made but he will certainly get the opportunity to be on the field game one. Who knows what could happen from there!
