FEATURED

Week 11

A mixed bag of fantasy discussion.

(in case the logo wasn't clear enough)

Is this trade fair? Dalvin Cook for Aaron Jones & Kareem Hunt. (other backs are Zach Moss, Salvon Ahmed, Darrell Henderson & Joe Mixon)

There's a scenario where giving up Cook for those two would work out better for team A. Say Cook gets hurt on Sunday, that's the most obvious way. But also, if Jones & Hunt play to their full ability, then they would likely produce more points than Cook alone.

But with the numbers that Dalvin is putting up, combined with what the second starting spot could add, I think that holding off from going 1 for 2 is the right choice.

Corey Davis or Jamison Crowder in the flex?

Baltimore will most likely double AJ Brown so Davis hitting double-figures again is probable.

BUT when Crowder has gotten on the field he has outproduced Davis most weeks. Can't say I feel good about it just because of the team he plays for, but Crowder is the better option.

Tyler Boyd or Salvon Ahmed for the flex?

It's within the realm of possibility that Ahmed's production in week 10 was a hot-hand getting fed, but 21 carries is not a fluke. Add on that Cincy is going against the number 1 pass defense and the choice gets that much easier to make.

Nyheim Hines or Justin Jefferson in the flex?

Combine Hines being apart of the most hard-to-predict with the fact that Jefferson is up against one of the most exploitable defenses and the rookie getting the nod is the easiest choice this week.

With Swift out who is the Lions RB to stream this week, Adrian Peterson or Kerryon Johnson?

The situation may well finish near a 50/50 split for touches.

But even if Detroit falls behind they've shown a willingness to target Peterson a little bit and he is much more suited for goal-line usage than Johnson.

Stream Peterson.

The latest fantasy bomb to drop was that Taysom Hill may be the starter for New Orleans this weekend instead of Winston. He may be a guy that has already been sniped in your league, but there's another name to consider that likely is available.

Coming off his three-week layoff Andy Dalton isn't a flashy name and playing behind that line may put a hard ceiling on his potential this year. BUT after playing an ascending but still young & injured Minnesota defense the Fallen Stars go against DC in week 12 & Cincy in week 14. Those could be starter worthy days, so add him now while the skepticism is highest!

David Johnson has been okay this year.

But now he's on IR with a concussion.

So unless your league has injury slots, you can't afford to waste a spot on a guy for the most important weeks of the season.

Philadelphia's offense continues to find ways to underwhelm. Despite that, Travis Fulgham had continued to find a way to be a strong fantasy producer. Whatever raft he had been riding got a hole in it last week, so I can understand why the reaction to him would be negative this week.

But don't forget what he managed to do for the five previous games.

He probably won't bounce back with another 30 point game (PPR), but I think the odds are better then 50/50 that he'll be back in double-figures this week.

D'Andre Swift's health has been a quietly developed into a concern this week, but then the bubble burst today as he was ruled out with a concussion.

He's currently in 80% of starting lineups.

He's out, don't do that!

Tim Patrick has had an up & down season so far but now he has the chance to even it out somewhat by going three games in a row above 10 points. Miami is not the same hot garbage from a year ago, but they are not yet elite either. And Patrick gets opportunities every week, which is every bit as important as the value that he can offer your lineup - $5,300.

But that's all for now.

Until next week, happy Fantasy hunting!
